Izah Chaudhary

Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner

With over nine years of experience in disability and behaviour support, I bring strong clinical expertise and a commitment to person‑centred, evidence‑informed practice. My background in speech and hearing sciences shaped my passion for communication development and supporting individuals with complex communication needs.

Transitioning from ABA into Positive Behaviour Support, I have refined my work through trauma‑informed frameworks, quality‑of‑life principles, and collaborative, culturally sensitive practice. As an Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner, I have extensive experience supporting children and adults with psychosocial disability, intellectual disability, autism, and diverse communication profiles.

I am passionate about creating environments where people feel understood, respected, and empowered to express themselves. I also value contributing to leadership—mentoring developing practitioners, supporting multidisciplinary teams, and strengthening service quality through reflective practice.

Outside of work, I enjoy being outdoors, exploring new places, walking tracks, hiking, and visiting the zoo.

I am dedicated to delivering compassionate, ethical behaviour support and partnering with participants, families, and providers to achieve positive, sustainable outcomes.
